A unique and historic setting

Our University is located all across Durham City and we can't wait to show you all of the areas that we love. Your city tour will take you around some of our favourite locations and buildings, and we will of course tailor this to take you to see some of your chosen areas too!

The official tourist website, This is Durham, is a great place to start if you would like more information on things to do and see in the city and surrounding area. With lots of information on B&Bs, guest houses, and hotels in the area, it is also a great resource if you were looking into extending your stay as well as travelling to and from Durham.

Parking

Unfortunately, there’s no car parking provision in the University car parks but parking in Durham City and Park and Ride facilities are available close by. You can find out more information on the County Council website.
