Please find the schedule for the activity below. Please note that timings are a guide, your tour of the college and campus may be slightly shorter or longer based on group size, tour route and Q&A discussion. 

Before your tour                                                        Registration will take place at either Mount Oswald Hub or the Assembly Rooms (this will be confirmed in your confirmation email). Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time so we can check you in.

13:00 pm                                                                             

During our 'Colleges Explained' talk, you'll gain an overview of our collegiate system and discover how it enriches the student experience - academically, socially, and personally. The session will be led by a member of college staff and will include a Q&A with our Student Ambassadors, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from those who know it best.

13:30 pm - 16:30 pm                                                           

You will then embark on a city tour with one of our fantastic Student Ambassadors, who will tailor the route to incorporate as many areas that your group want to see as possible within the time frame. Please note, Discover Durham Tours will not be able to incorporate tours inside of individual department buildings. 

As part of your visit, you’ll take guided tours of our colleges, where we aim to showcase as many key features as possible - from social spaces and study areas to dining halls and common rooms. Please note that, as tours take place during the academic year, it may not always be possible to view a student bedroom.
