Research directly informs our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and (in partnership with policy-makers, industry, the public sector, and communities around the world), shapes local, national and international agendas. Are you feeling a little apprehensive about making the step up to postgraduate study? Maybe you'd just like a little more insight into the challenges of a postgraduate degree? Join expert, Helen Costello, alongside some of our student ambassadors as they talk you through making the transition from undergraduate to postgraduate study. With helpful insight on how to adapt to your next step and the support available at Durham University, the team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and help you with your transition to master's level study.

Postgraduate Sports and Societies
Whatever you love doing, whatever you may like to try, you will find support and inspiration here. 87% of students engage, participate, excel and give back in a wide variety of extra-curricular events, programmes and activities in sport, theatre, music and volunteering. This session will be led by our Student Enrichment Team to help you understand what opportunities are available to you during your time here as a postgraduate student.

This session will be hosted by staff from our International Office and gives those joining us from abroad the opportunity to ask our experts any questions you may have.
