Undergraduate Pre-application Open Days

We're looking forward to you experiencing everything that Durham has to offer on either Friday 13 June or Saturday 14 June 2025.

You'll be able to visit academic departments and colleges, as well as find out more about what it's like to be a student with us. Come along and chat with staff and students, experience a wide range of our amazing facilities, and ask any questions you might have! We can't wait to meet you!

Bookings for this event will close on Wednesday 11 June at 12 noon or when bookings reach 10,000 per event day.

 

To provide you with the maximum flexibility on the day, we don't ask you to book onto any specific sessions or presentations - all of our sessions are first-come, first-served with priority given to prospective students. Sessions are repeated throughout the day. 

Top tip: sessions repeated 3 or more times are very popular so consider attending the first or last session of the day.

Once you have submitted your booking we'll send you a confirmation email and more key information in the lead up to the event.

Advice for Blue Badge Holders

The University has a number of blue badge-holder parking bays. Unfortunately, it's not possible to pre-book blue badge holders. Further details regarding university parking can be found on our website. If visiting Lower Mountjoy (where the majority of our sessions take place) on Stockton Road, there are accessible parking bays on the left-hand side as you enter the University site. Our security office slightly further up the road will be able to provide alternatives should these be full.

As our presentations and tours take place throughout our Estate, which is spread throughout the city, accessible parking is subject to the sessions you wish to visit.
