Checking In
We don't have a central check-in point during the Open Days - this is to allow you the freedom to start your day wherever you choose!
However, we've included information below about the different ways you can check in to the event to let us know you're here!
Please note:
Once you have checked in to the event, you do not have to check in again at any point. We do not require you to check in to any of our individual sessions throughout the day.
Download our Event App in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
We will send you a login for the app via an email 48 hours prior to the event. Keep an eye out for this so that you can get logged in and ready for the day.
The app holds lots of useful information!
To check in to the event on the day - go to the app and select the 'Event Check-in' button. This will allow you to scan our event QR code to check yourself in. The QR codes will be displayed on posters in and around our general, departmental and college buildings.
2) Via a manual check-in process
If you are having difficulties with either of the above ways to check in, then you can visit us in the Teaching and Learning Centre (South Rd, Durham DH1 3LS) where we can manually check you in to the event!
In the Reception area of the Teaching and Learning Centre there will be lots of staff members who are able to help you check in.
All you will need to provide is your name and we will make sure it gets sorted for you!
